Doc...sorry i don't know.i was at the khe-sanh site and came over to pay my respects.i was at k/sanh the nite the l/vei got hit and overrun.we could hear the action but we could't get there we had no choppers on the base.we were on a lock down cause of what happened at l/vei.we all remember that nite and praise them for there action's.Brian Prochaska USMC 1967-68

Does anyone know the name of the S.F. body recovered from hill 471 April (2-4), 1968. The body was found after the Marines of 1/9 secured the hill at the start of Operation Pegasus. The body was found at the bottom of a large bomb crater. I removed his wallet, identified him as a US Army Ranger (S.F.) The Army sent in their own Graves personnel to recover the body. I had his name in my log book, unfortunately it was lost many years back. I include him in my morning prayers, as an unknown. This is my own quest to identify all of the Men who died on my watch so as their names will never be forgotten. Thanks "Fratres Aeterni"
